Wheel Taster
Curious about pottery but not ready to commit to multiple sessions? Our 2.5-hour Wheel Taster Workshop is the perfect introduction to the pottery wheel. Designed for complete beginners, this fun and relaxed class includes step-by-step guidance from an experienced instructor as you learn the basics of throwing clay on the wheel. Your piece will be fired and clear glazed after the class, making it food and microwave safe.
​All materials are included, including clay, tools, firing, and a clear glaze finish for one piece. Before the end of the class, you'll also have the option to paint your piece to personalize your creation.
Whether you're trying pottery for the first time, planning a creative date, or looking for a unique experience with friends, this workshop is a great way to get your hands muddy and create something special to take home.
Class Outline:
15 minute demo
90 minute throwing
15 minute paining or decorating
30 minute clean up
Potters of all levels are welcome to join, but demonstration will be done at the beginner level.

When? Saturdays 10:30 am - 1 pm
Where? 170 Bedford Road, Toronto (3rd floor)

You will take home a food and microwave safe piece 4-6 weeks after the workshop.
