Service Description
Curious about pottery? Our 2.5-hour Wheel Taster Workshop is the perfect introduction to the pottery wheel. Designed for complete beginners, this fun and relaxed class includes step-by-step guidance from an experienced instructor as you learn the basics of throwing clay on the wheel. All materials are included, including clay, tools, firing, and a clear glaze finish for one piece. The class is 2.5 hour long including 30 minute clean up. Whether you're trying pottery for the first time, planning a creative date, or looking for a unique experience with friends, this workshop is a great way to get your hands muddy and create something special to take home. You will take home a food and microwave safe piece 4-6 weeks after the workshop.

Cancellation Policy
Tickets are non-refundable, but can be moved to another date with at least 7 days notice. We are not able to reschedule booking less than 7 days in advance no matter when the booking was made. Last minute cancellation spots can be transferred under a different name. Please contact us with the name and contact information of the person attending the session in your place. Firing fee for additional or oversized pieces can be paid for at the end of the class via cash or card. Firing fee is 5$ for regular sized piece and 10$ for pieces over 10 inches. The studio is not responsible for your pieces possibly getting damaged or broken before, during, or after the firing process. Glazing can optionally be done in the studio. A hand building/ glazing class booking is needed to be able to glaze your piece after the first firing. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. A separate booking is required for each participant. Please arrive on time to be present for the demo as the instructor will not be able to repeat it after. Due to the limited spaces available and classes being often sold out, sitting together might not be possible. Please plan to arrive ahead of class time to make sure you can secure the spots of your choosing.
