Single Wheel Classes
2 or 2.5 Hours
Looking for a fun way to get creative and try something new? Our beginner-friendly pottery wheel class is the perfect introduction to wheel throwing. Whether you're coming with friends, planning a date, or simply treating yourself to a relaxing experience, you'll learn the basics of the pottery wheel while creating your own unique ceramic pieces.
No experience is needed! We'll provide everything you need, including stoneware clay, tools, and step-by-step guidance from one of our experienced instructors.
Who Is It For?
Everyone is welcome, from complete beginners to experienced potters looking for a fun studio session.
Children under 14 years old must be accompanied by a participating adult. A separate ticket is required for both the child and the chaperone.
If you've worked with clay before, you're more than welcome to join us! While the class is taught at a beginner level, our instructors are always happy to share additional tips and techniques throughout the session.
Weekly Schedule

2.5-Hour Class

Thursday: 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Firing Process
Your class includes the firing of one piece per person.
-
Additional pieces can be fired for $5 + HST each.
-
Pieces larger than 10 inches incur an additional $5 firing fee.
-
Ticket prices remain the same whether or not you choose to have your work fired.
Firing takes approximately 3 weeks. Once your pottery has been fired, you can either pick it up as a beautiful decorative piece or return for one of our glazing classes to add colour and make it functional (glaze firing will make it food and microwave safe).
Please note that pottery is fragile throughout the firing process. Although we handle every piece with great care, occasional breakage is an unavoidable part of ceramics, and the studio cannot be responsible for pieces damaged during firing.
Ticket Policy
Tickets are non-refundable.
If your plans change, you may reschedule your booking with at least 5 days' notice. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate rescheduling requests made within 5 days of the class, regardless of when the booking was made.
If you're unable to attend at the last minute, you're welcome to send someone in your place. Please let us know their name and contact information before the class.
